At Hearts & Hands Academy Learning Center, we believe learning should feel meaningful, hands‑on, and rooted in community. Founded by Kendra De Luca‑Leiker — a homeschooling mom, educator, and creative entrepreneur — our center was created to support families who want flexible, engaging, and heart‑centered enrichment opportunities.

We offer a wide range of programs for children and teens, all designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage real‑world learning. Our classes grow and evolve based on the needs and interests of the families we serve, offering everything from creative experiences to academic support and skill‑building workshops.

Whether you’re joining us for ASL, art, academic help, or one of our many rotating classes and community events, you’ll find a place that feels welcoming, supportive, and aligned with the values of family‑led education. At Hearts & Hands Academy Learning Center, we provide a growing variety of enrichment opportunities designed to support family‑led education and inspire lifelong learning. Our programs are flexible, hands‑on, and created with homeschool families in mind.

We currently offer American Sign Language (ASL) classes for all ages, along with a rotating selection of creative, academic, and skill‑building workshops. From arts and communication to practical life skills and collaborative learning experiences, our goal is to create a space where children, teens, and adults can learn, grow, and connect in meaningful ways. I’m Kendra De Luca‑Leiker, the ASL instructor, founder, and executive director of Hearts & Hands Academy Learning Center — a special education teacher, stay‑at‑home homeschooling mom, and proud Fire Captain’s wife. My heart is rooted in family, service, and creating warm, welcoming spaces where every learner feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of opening my own learning center — a place where I could touch the lives of children and families in a meaningful, lasting way. I believe that children of all ages learn best when they’re having fun, and that philosophy is at the core of everything I teach. Learning should feel joyful, hands‑on, and full of connection.

Bringing sign language to our community has always been a passion of mine, and teaching it in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way is one of my greatest joys. Through Hearts & Hands, I pour my love for teaching, creativity, and kindness into a space where families can learn, grow, and truly feel at home.

Our instructors and community partners are highly motivated individuals who share a genuine love for teaching and supporting families. Each one brings their own unique talents, passions, and expertise to our learning center, creating a rich and diverse environment where students of all ages can thrive.
